- THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE BURGLARY RESIDENTIA­L BURGLARY OTHER PROPERTY DAMAGE

A HONDA CRV stolen overnight Saturday from Fulford Cres, Elliminyt, was left unlocked with keys and wallet inside it.

A vehicle was used in an attempted theft of a Mazda CX5 in an aggravated burglary incident and was recovered damaged in paddocks off Christies Rd, Barongaroo­k, the next day.

A BMW stolen from a house in Colac was recovered in Colac.

A Hyundai stolen from Grovedale was recovered in South Geelong while a Holden taken in Newcomb was found in Swan Bay. NUMBERPLAT­ES were stolen from Corio, Geelong West, Grovedale, Hamlyn Heights, Newcomb and St Leonards streets and from a house in Belmont.

South Geelong railway station was also a target as was parkland in Geelong and Point Lonsdale.

In Newcomb a purse was taken and cash and fuel were stolen. Clothing was taken from South Geelong, also clothing and cash from Ocean Grove.

Cash and computers were stolen from Breakwater and building tools were stolen from a vehicle in Charlemont. THERE were three incidents in Belmont.

In Corio computers and home audio were taken. Household electrical gear was stolen from Ocean Grove while power tools were taken from a Bell Park home and a TV was stolen in Colac. CASH was stolen from the Grovedale Tennis Club on Saturday.

An attempt was made to steal from the safe at the Geelong Central Netball complex early Saturday.

An attempt was also made on the safe at Bean Squeeze in Belmont about 3.30am on Saturday and a $6000 coffee machine was taken from Coffee Machine Technologi­es, Geelong West, at 3am Saturday.

In North Geelong tools were stolen from a warehouse while cash was stolen from a licensed venue in Curlewis, building materials from a factory in Moolap and computers from Newtown. GRAFFITI was recorded at railway stations in Geelong, South Geelong, North Shore, Waurn Ponds, Ocean Grove, Marshall, Corio and Lara, also at a retailer in Torquay and garage in Norlane.

Vehicles were damaged in Hamlyn Heights, a carpark in Corio, house in Norlane and in Highton, Drysdale, Whittingto­n and Geelong West streets.

Windows were damaged at a retailer in Belmont, houses in Newcomb, Colac and Whittingto­n, also a driveway in Corio and warehouse in North Geelong, while doors were damaged at homes in Whittingto­n, Corio, Highton and Norlane, a bungalow in Whittingto­n and flat in St Leonards. Fences were damaged at a factory in Norlane, school grounds in Hamlyn Heights, a yard in Bell Park and North Geelong.
