A DESPERATE dog owner is offering an extraordinary $10,000 reward for information directly leading to the safe return of her missing labrador.

Owner Belinda Cox, pictured, has put up the massive offer for her beloved black labrador Armani, who disappeared from her Connewarre property last Wednesday. “I’m prepared to go broke to get her back, I don’t care what it costs, I can’t put a price on her; I just love her so much,” Ms Cox said.

A DESPERATE dog owner is offering an extraordinary $10,000 reward for information directly leading to the safe return of her missing labrador.

The massive reward has been put up by Belinda Cox, a dog breeder who’s prepared to go broke in the search for her beloved black labrador Armani, who disappeared from the front yard of her Connewarre property on Wednesday, August 29. Speaking to the Advertiser yesterday, Ms Cox admitted the $10,000 reward was a lot of money.

“It’s huge, but compared to what she means to me, I wish I had more,” Ms Cox said. “I’m prepared to go broke to get her back, I don’t care what it costs, I can’t put a price on her; I just love her so much.” “Any lead will do.” The desperate owner has even used a drone in the search for Armani.

“There are no words to express the love and light within this beautiful dog!” Ms Cox wrote on Facebook last week. “She is my soulmate … Please, please keep a look out for her wherever you may live, she may have been picked up and taken and escaped, or she may just be wandering around lost.”

Ms Cox said the disappearance of Armani, who had birthed a litter of nine puppies just six weeks beforehand, was “completely out of the blue”.

“Even if someone had left the gate open she still wouldn’t go anywhere,” she said. “She’s been nursing, she’s tired and happy, she doesn’t want to go anywhere.”

“We don’t actually have any information to go on, we just don’t know, all we can really hope is that someone uneducated has picked her up and they just don’t understand what she means to me.”

Ms Cox’s campaign to locate her companion has spread across social media, with a video of her pleading for information being viewed about 300,000 times.
