A healthy partnership
CDFL AFL Barwon will explore educational opportunities for clubs around sports psychology, nutrition and physiotherapy with Corio Bay Health Group after extending their partnership for a further three years.
While AFL Barwon region general manager Will McGregor said Corio Bay Health’s commitment – which extends to 37 years by 2021 – and role with the league would remain similar, he said the league would explore opportunities to educate their clubs.
“I think we can look to do that in the coming years and months in regards to education, there’s a lot of programs that they offer here through sports psychology, nutrition or clinical physiotherapy, a whole range of areas we can potentially provide education to clubs around that,” McGregor said.
