LABOR’S LEGISLATION WILL BE DISASTER FOR CFA

-

THIS state election is a referendum on whether the CFA survives or not.

The Andrews Government has destroyed the respect and the trust within the CFA. The bullying, forced resignations, destroyed careers and sackings has the morale of the CFA at a low never before experienced.

If the Andrews Government is reelected and they are successful in getting the legislation that sits in the Upper House passed, the nails will be in the CFA coffin. There will be mass exodus of the members.

Many brigades will form their own groups outside the CFA using their own equipment. Some brigades will close. The Victorian public will be more at risk and fires will become bigger because of lack of numbers.

Road accident victims will be at much higher risk of dying with the possibility of no CFA. Attendance or at best a very slow response.

Make your vote count for the future of the CFA and your safety.

Robert D Cooke, (50 years volunteer involvement with the CFA)
