BIT OF LUCK FORE SURE

AUSTRALIAN golfer Breanna Gill had a lucky escape after narrowly being missed by a golf ball on the ninth hole on the Beach yesterday.

Gill, who was standing in an undulation on the fairway, was not able to be seen from the tee box when Max Orrin let rip.

Gill was about to pull the trigger on her approach shot when the ball landed just a couple of metres to her left.

She quickly pulled out of the shot with she and her caddie turning around to wave back at the group behind. Luckily, the men realised she was not on the green with the rest of her group and waited for her to finish her shot before teeing off again.
