Firearms stolen from Corio garage

- BURGLARY RESIDENTIA­L BURGLARY OTHER THEFT OF MOTOR CAR THEFT FROM MOTOR CAR PROPERTY DAMAGE

FIREARMS were stolen from a garage in Corio, power tools were pinched from premises under constructi­on in Barwon Heads as well as from a shed in North Geelong, home audio equipment and a TV were taken from a house in Lorne, building tools were stolen from a garage in Torquay and jewellery was taken from a house in Whittingto­n. POWER tools were stolen from a business in North Geelong, clothing and jewellery from a retailer in Geelong West, and cash was targeted at an agricultur­al facility in Lara. A second retailer in Geelong West, a reserve in Lara and warehouse in South Geelong were also targeted. A TOYOTA ute stolen from a front yard in Bell Post Hill and a Honda sedan taken from a driveway in Corio were both recovered in Corio. A Toyota sedan was stolen and recovered in Geelong, a Holden ute taken from a house in Grovedale was found in Seymour and a Volkswagen sedan stolen from a driveway in Norlane was recovered in Laverton.

Holden sedans have been stolen from driveways in Lara and Whittingto­n, a street in Avalon and a house in Highton. An Audi hatch was taken from a house in Belmont, a Ford tray truck from a manufactur­er in Breakwater and a Mitsubishi truck from a house in Hamlyn Heights. A Toyota sedan was stolen from a driveway in Lara, a Chrysler sedan was taken from a house in Norlane, an Isuzu tray truck was taken from the wharf at North Shore and a BMW sedan from St Albans Park. NUMBERPLAT­ES were stolen in Corio, Geelong West, Lara, Norlane, St Albans Park and Torquay.

Cash and cards were stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway in Grovedale, cash from a vehicle at a beach carpark in Lorne, a purse was stolen from a car in a driveway at Norlane and computers from a car in the street in Rippleside. VEHICLES were damaged in Lara, Torquay, Clifton Springs, Ocean Grove and Corio. Graffiti only made up two incidents this week. They were at a school in Hamlyn Heights and shopping complex in Bell Park.
