Fuel, tools & firearms among items nicked

- BURGLARY RESIDENTIA­L BURGLARY OTHER THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE PROPERTY DAMAGE

FUEL and power tools were stolen from a shed in Colac, while firearms were pinched from a shed in Mount Duneed. In St Albans Park, jewellery and power tools were taken from flats and a TV was stolen from a house. Houses were also targeted in Corio, Norlane and Point Lonsdale.

THIEVES targeted a retailer in Colac; a shopping complex in Geelong; a North Geelong factory; a Lara warehouse; a Newcomb school and a fastfood outlet in Norlane. Computers were also stolen from a Geelong office.

A HOLDEN sedan stolen from a driveway in Corio was located in Creswick; a Mazda van taken from the street in Moolap was recovered in Whittingto­n and a Holden sedan stolen from a driveway in Norlane was found in Winchelsea. Still missing are: a Holden sedan stolen from a residence in Connewarre; a Holden ute from Fyansford; a Mazda truck from a retailer in North Geelong; a Toyota truck from a warehouse in Geelong West; a Mazda ute from a Highton service station; a Kia wagon taken from a car park and a Holden ute from a house in Leopold; a Suzuki hatch from Moolap, a Toyota ute from flats in Norlane, a Toyota wagon from a driveway in Torquay and a Ford sedan from the street in Whittingto­n.

NUMBER plates were stolen in Bell Post Hill, Belmont, Corio, Geelong, Hamlyn Heights, Lara, Newtown, Norlane, and from the South Geelong train station. Power tools were stolen from a vehicle in a car park at Grovedale; cash was taken at an educationa­l centre in Norlane, a hand bag was taken in Colac, clothing and computers from Ocean Grove, and cash and clothing in Whittingto­n.

VEHICLES were damaged at homes in Bell Park, Corio, Norlane and Ocean Grove; in the streets of Colac, Corio, Lara and Hamlyn Heights, while a vehicle was targeted at a Geelong West warehouse, a driveway in Colac and a Norlane front yard. Letterboxe­s were damages in Anglesea and Grovedale. Windows were damaged at houses in North Geelong, Lara, Corio, Leopold and Ocean Grove, and at retailers in Leopold and East Geelong. Graffiti was reported at an office in Geelong, an open space in Colac, a retailer in Leopold, Rollins Primary School in Bell Post Hill and at the train stations at Lara and Geelong.
