THE new release tells the incredible true story of Bert Trautmann (David Kross), a prisoner-of-war and German soldier who becomes a goalkeeper at Manchester City and in doing so becomes a football legend. While in Manchester at the end of WWII, Margaret (Freyer Mavor) and her father, the manager of the local football team, recruit Trautmann. His love for Margaret slowly blossoms despite local hostility. But their relationship is put to the test when fate intervenes.
