Two to fill Didulica’s shoes
PROFESSIONAL Footballers Australia has moved quickly to replace outgoing chief executive John Didulica with two respected figures in the game — former Matilda Kate Gill and A-League veteran Beau Busch.
The exit of Didulica at the start of the month left a gaping hole for the players’ union, after the North Geelong president played a major role in key negotiations in recent years, including getting the A-League season restarted as one parting gift for the game.
Gill and Busch were unveiled on Thursday, tasked with navigating the tricky waters at a crucial juncture for the game.
