MASON Cox remains on the outer at Collingwood after missing selection on the extended bench for Sunday’s big clash with West Coast.

Magpies coach Nathan Buckley has turned to recruit Darcy Cameron, Ben Reid and Josh Thomas, who have been named among the potential inclusions.

It is a blow for Cox, who was a late out against Geelong and has not played since the win over Hawthorn.

Matt Scharenberg, Brayden Sier and Jack Madgen have also been added, with the final team to be announced on Friday night.

Forward Jordan De Goey (finger) and Travis Varcoe (ribs) are the two forced outs.

North Melbourne coach Rhyce Shaw has a made a statement, dropping experienced duo Marley Williams and Mason Wood for his team’s meeting with Carlton.

Skipper Jack Ziebell (hamstring) Aiden Bonar (soreness) will also miss.

Nick Larkey (foot) will play his first game since Round 1, while fellow forward Cam Zurhaar (calf) will return with Jed Anderson and Luke DaviesUniacke.

At Hawthorn, former Suns and Eagles player Keegan Brooksby will make his debut against Sydney on Saturday.

The ruckman won an opportunity to continue his AFL career at Hawthorn via the supplementary selection period in March.

Hawk Ricky Henderson is one of the two exclusions, with the midfielder sustaining a knee injury last weekend.

“Ricky pulled up sore following Sunday’s game, with scans revealing a tear to his meniscus,” Hawks football boss Graham Wright said.

“Given he is expected to be out of action for at least four to six weeks, he’ll return home to spend time with his wife and two young kids.

“We are fully supportive of Ricky’s decision and understand the unique challenges facing all players and staff this season.”

Tim O’Brien (ankle) will also miss for the Hawks.

At Essendon, Aaron Francis and Tom Bellchambers are back in at the expense of Andrew Phillips and Cale Hooker (calf) for its clash with Adelaide on Sunday.

St Kilda will bring Jack Sinclair and Matt Parker in for the first time in 2020, while Nicholas Hind has been included for Saturday’s clash with Port Adelaide. Josh Battle will miss with a facial fracture, while Jack Lonie has been omitted.
