Angelina told kids to ‘shun’ Brad

-

Angelina Jolie has been accused by her former SAS bodyguard of attempting to drive a wedge between her children and their father, Brad Pitt, after the couple’s divorce.

Tony Webb, a Falklands veteran who worked for the couple for 20 years, made a legal filing in their bitter dispute over the ownership of Chateau Miraval, their former family home and vineyard in Provence. Webb said he was told Jolie targeted the children’s relationship with Pitt by ordering them to shun him during custody visits. The couple have six children: Maddox, 22; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 17; and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.

The battle for ownership of the chateau has become known in Hollywood as the “War of the Rose”.

Jolie accuses Pitt of offering to buy her half of the 1000-acre estate on condition that she sign a nondisclosure agreement, which her lawyers claim was designed to “hide his history of abuse, control and cover-up”.

Jolie, 48, says she refused to sign and sold her half-share to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler in 2021. Pitt, 60, claims she breached a deal that they would give each other first refusal on the purchase of the estate.

In a filing to the Los Angeles superior court, Webb said Jolie tried to block testimony from security staff in her family court cases by threatening to sue them for breaching nondisclosure agreements.

Webb, 62, described serving with the Royal Marines in the 1982 Falklands conflict.

After retiring from the SAS, he set up SRS Global Security and began working for Jolie in 2000. Webb said he was fired after two of his security personnel sided with Pitt following the couple’s separation in 2016. He now works for Pitt.
