SOFT FEEL GETS SOFTER, LONGER, BETTER
THE green box of the Srixon Soft Feel has long been a staple in many pro shops around Australia. And the improved performance in key areas of the newest version, which marks the 11th generation of the ball, should only serve to continue the model’s popularity.
A softer cover, innovative core composition and modified dimple pattern all combine to improve the distance, control and feel of the Soft Feel, which is offered in both ‘Soft White’ and ‘Tour Yellow’.
“The all-new Soft Feel was designed to help players maximize their distance off the tee, while providing even better feel and control,” Vice President of Research and Development Jeff Brunski said. “The latest generation of Soft Feel accomplishes this goal offering a lower compression ball for incredible distance, but a softer cover to provide that greenside performance all players crave. The Soft Feel provides all-around performance at an incredible value which really separates this golf ball from the rest.”
Soft Feel’s ‘Energetic Gradient Growth’ core is engineered to produce optimal launch conditions of increased launch and lower spin from the tee, for maximum distance without sacrificing the soft feel off the club face that the ball is named for.
The cover of the latest version is thinner to increase spin on all shots around the green, with the reduction in thickness also helping to improve the feel on shorter shots, while the ‘338 Speed Dimple Pattern’ has been upgraded for improved performance. The redesigned dimples offering a more consistent ball flight that is less affected by wind and reduces drag to enhance both distance from the tee and control throughout the rest of the bag. RRP: $34.95 (per dozen). Available August 2.
