MAXIMUM VELOCITY

-

Titleist’s Velocity golf ball has undergone a complete overhaul, with every component reengineered to increase distance even further and offer greater stopping power. The new version also available in three new matte colour options.

Powered by a larger LSX core producing increased initial velocity at impact and lower spin with longer clubs, the new Velocity is manufactured at Titleist’s Ball Plant 2 in Massachusetts and is designed to deliver improvements based on feedback from the model’s dedicated following.

“Velocity golfers love distance, and they never stop asking us for more yards. But we know they’re also trying to shoot lower scores, and distance is only one part of that equation. The advancements our engineers have made to Velocity’s aerodynamics package and high-speed core technology are meaningful. Golfers can take aim from farther away – confident that if they put a good swing on it, they’ll have the extra distance to reach the green with the ball flight to stop it there.”,” says Vice President, Titleist Golf Ball Marketing Michael Mahoney.

An all-new spherically-tiled 350 octahedral dimple design is part of this equation, creating a more consistent and higher flight, while the increase in core size has resulted in greater stopping power when approaching greens. The new Velocity’s fast ‘NaZ+’ cover also enhances greenside feel, while the new matte finish options have been developed to maintain their colour throughout the normal course of play. SRP: $43.95 (dozen).
