Kendyl Middelbeek

Kendyl is the styling mastermind behind the Home Gift Guide feature from pages 78-80, and says she fell into styling during her first few graphic design jobs in publishing. “I was very lucky to work with some talented and generous photographers early on who helped me hone my craft – it really is a collaborative exercise to create a good shot.”

Chikako Shiraki

Chikako is the super talented florist behind White Tree Floral Design and has created the floristry for many of Good’s cover shoots in the past, including this issue’s table setting spectacle. Her favourite type of flower is the sweet pea. “They bring back memories of being a girl in the garden with my grandmother. I love how flowers have the ability to evoke memories with the sense of smell,” she says.

Phoebe Carr and Emily Read

Cover stars Phoebe and Emily are the dynamic duo behind Together, a bespoke wholefoods catering company established in 2016. Their amazing platter creation also features on the cover and they share their expert tips on page 90. With their day starting well before the sun rises, Phoebe and Emily manage all aspects of their business – from running their Auckland-based shop, to catering for their suppliers and corporate events. They’re hoping to have some downtime this summer though, relaxing at the beach, drinking smoothies and enjoying picnics in the sunshine with loved ones.
