Too much of a good thing

Overwatering is the number one thing that kills houseplants. The easiest way to find out whether your plant is thirsty is to check if the soil is wet or dry. As a general rule it’s better to slightly underwater than overwater. Make sure your pots have drainage holes, and drain them in the sink when you water if you need to.
