Yunnanese food is rare enough in Sydney. But Yunnanese fusion? Such is the splendid idiosyncrasy of Chinatown newcomer Spring Yunnan, which offers cold rice noodles (pictured), spicy(ish) rice noodle soup, steam-pot chicken and other southern Chinese classics alongside the less expected likes of Buffalo wings, prosciutto stir-fried with tofu curds, and spring onion pancakes with vanilla ice-cream.
