Kimberley ahoy
With its much-anticipated underwater lounge, Le Lapérouse – the first of four new ships by French line Ponant – will give expeditioners access to whale song and marine-life sightings over Martinis when it’s launched in June. Among its voyages next year will be a tour of the remote Kimberley coastline in Western Australia arranged by Abercrombie & Kent – the first time the luxury tour operator has ventured into the region. The 12-night cruise from Broome to Darwin departs 20 June 2019.
