Art of eating

-

It’s not just chefs who are being innovative when it comes to supporting the hospitality industry – designers are flexing their skills, too. More Of Something Good is a project from designers Michael Souvanthalisith and Muriel-Ann Ricafrente (aka Studio Mimu). The pair – who also work together at Sydney design powerhouse, Frost*collective – have called upon their creative friends to illustrate a graphic food directory of excellent Asian eats. The project reflects on memories of special food experiences, to inspire and remind people of exceptional restaurants and dishes in Sydney and Melbourne. “Art and food are universal languages and they both illicit very honest and somewhat primal responses from people,” says Ricafrente. You’ll find whimsical, bright and bold illustrations of tonkotsu ramen, pineapple buns, banh mi and more. “Our hope is that we can help all those uncles and aunties get back on their feet as we navigate through this hazy period,” says Ricafrente. moreofsomethinggood.com
