[Bars 90-97] Gary mixes up several of the rhythmic and note ideas we’ve already heard. These include the typical Albert King-style 14th fret bend (eg bar 10) from the 4th (F#) to the 5th (G#) interval (also a Stevie Ray Vaughan favourite), and resolving from the minor 3rd to the root via a quick 16th-note rhythm (many versions of this same lick can be heard throughout this track). Whatever Gary plays is always imbued with that great blues sensibility.
