The Mixolydian mode can be an effective scale for blues soloing, especially when applied to the IV and V chords as it is in this example. Make sure that those semitone bends in bars 1 and 2 are accurate; the bend creates that allimportant b7 interval; over bending would create a discordant major 7th.
