For this II-V-I into a turn­around idea Stern sug­gests Cm and G over the Cm7 then nails the tonal­ity by comes back up C Mi­nor. Over the F7 he moves up with an F# chro­matic pass­ing note into F Mixoly­dian then gets prett y out­side with a won­der­ful line over the turn­around, sug­gest­ing Ebm7 and Ab7 over the Bb and G7, F#m7 and B7 over the Cm7 and F7 be­fore re­solv­ing to the 5th (F) on the Bb­maj7.
