This eight-bar exercise combines all of the above, but introduces a trill in the 3rd bar played with a quick succession of hammer-ons and pull-offs between first and second fingers. The acciaccaturas in bar 6 are best thought of as very quick slides from below the eventual target notes. This example is diatonic to the key of A major, except for bar 7, which contains non-diatonic ‘accidentals’.
