[Bar 169] The solo begins with melodic phrases in F# natural minor (1-2-b3-b6-b7). Keep your whammy bar in the crook of your curled picking hand fingers so you can incorporate the scoops and whammy vibrato naturally.

[Bar 180 - 181] This section starts with some legato and slides to ascend the first string. Practise this lick slowly to ‘programme’ the muscle memory in your fingers before attempting to play it up to speed.
