Try fret­ting the sixth string with your thumb over the top of the neck to free up your fin­gers for the G Blues scale (1- 4- 5- based dou­ble-stops. In­fuse the con­stant eighth-notes with mo­men­tum by us­ing down­strokes through­out. When you reach the de­scend­ing scale switch to even, re­laxed al­ter­nate pick­ing.
