ex­am­ples 1-3 These em­ploy two-string triad shapes. This first one fea­tures a four-note mo­tif (note-or­der: high­est note, mid­dle note, low­est note, mid­dle note) played to a 16th-note count and taken up along the length of the neck stem­ming from CaGed shape #1 and shift­ing up through the var­i­ous in­ver­sions be­fore end­ing up an in the equiv­a­lent shape #1 an oc­tave higher, where we top things off with a bluesy phrase.
