Get the Tone

All tracks were recorded with the James Tyler Studio Elite, a very versatile guitar used by session aces like Michael Landau and Dan Huff. The guitar was recorded in the control room into a pedal board then direct into the Universal Audio Apollo interface as the drums were being performed in the live room. The Apollo has great onboard amp models and I used Fender and Marshall plugins (pickup and effects are notated at the start of each piece). When playing in a particular style it is important to have a suitable tone, so study the notes alongside the tab - and use your ears!
