Les David­son brings you two full so­los in the style of Room Full Of Blues’s Duke Ro­bil­lard.

Duke Ro­bil­liard (born Michael Ro­bil­lard, 1948) has said that when he was a boy, mu­sic took over his life and he be­came ob­sessed with recre­at­ing the sound of his early in­flu­ences: Lit­tle Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Elvis and Chuck Berry and the sin­gles that his older, gui­tar-play­ing brother would bring home. His first se­ri­ous gui­tar was a Gib­son Melody Maker but as a young boy for a sci­ence project, Duke and his fa­ther made a gui­tar that looked like a Tele­caster. It was good ground­ing in learn­ing to un­der­stand the in­stru­ment that has given him a suc­cess­ful ca­reer for over 50 years.
