THis is A GreAT ex­Am­ple of how some­thing re­ally sim­ple can be used over all the chords in a jazz blues and re­main ef­fec­tive. Made up from lit­tle chro­matic triplets, the ini­tial idea is fea­tured in bar one. Then, Chris shows how the se­quence can be moved over the fret­board, turned into a lick which lands ath­let­i­cally back on the G13.
