A welcome collection from early 70s soft rockers Stealers Wheel enjoyed a short, turbulent but intensely creative life in the early 70s, delivering singles like Stuck In The Middle

With You before imploding with members Gerry Rafferty and Joe Eagan moving onto solo careers, Rafferty in particular making an indelible stamp on pop’s edifice with Baker Street in the process. The three albums here are Stealers Wheel (1972),

Ferguslie Park (1974) and Right Or Wrong (1975), the first album being enhanced with three live tracks. Stealers Wheel has perhaps slipped out of view in recent years, but this compilation acts as a reminder of what an influential act they were.
