Featuring a highquality German-made baseplate, these double-locking Floyd units boast “stainless steel hardware, titanium insert blocks, an upgraded 37mm Fat Brass Sustain Block, and ruby red fine tuner screws”. Note that the latter are tastefully spec’d to commemorate the brand’s ruby anniversary.

The 40th Anniversary Floyd Rose Original Tremolo System contains the bridge, locking nut, springs and claw, mounting studs, and all hardware that’s necessary for installation. New British distributor The Rebellion Guitar Co – whose roster includes Matchless Amplifiers, Vahlbruch FX, Rock N Roll Relics, among others – is taking orders on the compact yet brilliant Matchless Laurel Canyon amplifier range. Described as a “punchy Princeton with Matchless’s signature top-end”, the 20-watt Laurel Canyon is available as a head and two combos: the 112 and the reverb-loaded 112R. Your tech specs are as follows: single channel with volume, bass, mid, treble and master controls; high- and low-gain inputs, two 6V6 power valves; a trio of 12AX7 preamp valves; and a single 5AR4 rectifier valve. The combos feature a single Matchless Celestion special design 12-inch speaker and weighs 24kg (53lb).
