You don’t have to go past the full colour and bouquet to find a wine screaming about its variety and place. Dark chocolate coats its dark cherry and blood plum fruit, tannins and oak join the party with enthusiasm, underscoring the quality of the vintage and its long-term potential. 14.3% alc.

A wonderful aspect of cellaring wine is how it develops in the bottle. When you get it right, it can be very satisfying. I love the honeyed characteristics of an old riesling and the earthy, savoury aromas of an aged shiraz.
