Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wildfermented in French oak (17% new), matured for 9 months, gold medal Australian Cool Climate Wine Show ’17. Bright pale green; immaculately fashioned from high-quality fruit, seamless balance and length the cornerposts of an effortless display of variety and of place. Ripe stone fruit and a touch of grapefruit are the prime movers, oak more an observer than player. 12.5% alc.

Chardonnay, like pinot noir, is very well suited to Tasmania’s cool climate, yet doesn’t enjoy the widespread reputation that pinot noir does. Fruit-driven, incorporating subtle French oak and balanced by crisp acidity, Tasmanian chardonnay is an undiscovered gem.
