2015 PECCAVI MARGARET RIVER CHARDONNAY

A mid-weighted chardonnay, without the buxom weight of others from the region. Stone fruit flavours asunder are positioned across the palate by a fiery streak of mineral-infused energy, well poised oak pillars and leesy crunch and funk, leaving a linger of cashew and nougat. This is very good. Elegant, but intense and impressively long across the senses. NG 13% alc. Our estate-grown, handpicked Gin Gin clone Chardonnay is barrel fermented in the finest French oak from the forests of Allier and Voges for one year in 30 per cent new oak. It is drinking wonderfully now, but will age gracefully over the next decade.
