Hand-picked, bunch-sorted, pressed, fermented in French oak, matured for 12 months. Still bright straw-green, it is an elegant albeit very long and complex wine. In true Yarra fashion, it will continue to develop slowly. 13.5% alc. This chardonnay fruit has the advantage of being hand selected from The View vineyard site, one of the highest in the Yarra Valley at 360m above sea level, allowing optimal maturity. The fruit marries seamlessly with the French oak flavour. It can be enjoyed year-round with freshly shucked oysters, a Peruvian pulpo de ceviche or mature hard cheeses. It is lip-licking delicious!
