What do you believe sets your region apart? The Canberra region has a lot to offer when it comes to food and wine. Eden Road is in Murrumbateman, 20 minutes from Canberra and 10 minutes from Yass. Our cool climate, high country wines reflect the terroir of our estate vineyard, as well as every vineyard we source grapes from across the Canberra region, Tumbarumba, Hilltops and Gundagai.
What are some of your favourite spots in the region? My favorite restaurant in Yass is Clementine, which promotes local fresh food. It’s lovely in winter as every dish celebrates local truffle. We also often go to the Murrumbateman pub for staff lunches and the Murrumbateman bakery makes really good coffee. In Canberra, I love Bistronomes, an authentic French Bistro owned by two French friends from Lyon. My favorite walks are the Hume & Howell track at Wee Jasper or the trails in the Namadgi National park.
