Why is your winery a must-visit? The light and airy tasting room is in a beautiful circa 1829 building on the main street of Collector, off the Federal Highway. Come to sample a range of beautifully crafted cool-climate wines. Visitors are welcomed by an open fire in the cooler months, and delicious food and great coffee is available next door at the renowned Some Cafe. What can you tell us about your flagship wine? The Marked Tree Red Shiraz won the ‘Red Wine of Provenance’ Trophy at the 2016 National Wine Show of Australia. This award recognises consistency of quality and style over successive vintages. The Marked Tree Red is a great example of the medium-weighted, fragrant and spice-driven style of shiraz for which the Canberra District is famous.
