2015 Romney Park Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir

Estate-grown, hand-picked, 80% destemmed, 20% whole bunches wild yeast open-fermented, matured for 14 months in French oak (10% new). Clear crimson; a most attractive and well-made pinot that keeps its focus and line from the first whiff through the length of the palate and into the aftertaste. It’s only just into medium-bodied territory, but its red cherry/berry fruits, spice and soft fruit and oak tannins all sing the same song. May go on longer than I suggest. 14% alc.
