2017 Cupitt’s Alphonse Shoalhaven Coast Sauvignon
Recognising that the climate won’t produce sauvignon blanc with the flavour-set to compete with Margaret River, Rosie Cupitt has adopted fermentation and maturation in nearnew oak in the style of the Loire Valley’s late Didier Dageneau. Given these parameters, the wine is made with the usual Cupitt panache, perfect for richer seafood dishes from the adjacent Pacific Ocean. Retention of acidity has been part of the crafting. 13% alc.
