2015 Heggies Vineyard Estate Eden Valley Chardonnay

This is a well-made wine, at or near the apex of Eden Valley chardonnay in the shifting sands of modern chardonnay style. WA has detonated a bomb for many regions in SA and southern VIC, hemming in regions such as Eden Valley. The colour is still light and bright, the fruit with the best of both worlds (freshness and clear, ripe varietal character, oak kept under control). 13% alc.
