2015 Penfolds Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro

Matured for 12 months in used French (83%) and American (17%) oak. Excellent depth and hue, still holding onto purple notes; the bouquet is harmonious, the oak and tannin contributions second to that of the purple and black fruits. All three components come through the medium-bodied palate with intent, and the wine has a very long future. 14.5% alc.
