From 10yo vines grown in Heathcote, handpicked, destemmed and crushed, 14 days cold soak, fermented with wild and cultured yeasts, matured for 12 months in 1-2yo oak. The colour lightens on the rim, which is not surprising. Here there is a courteous dialogue between place, winemaker, length and typicity as the wine reveals its spicy red fruits at the centre of the palate. 13.9% alc.
