Marlboroug­h is evolving, with many following a genuine artisanal approach and celebratio­n of the diversity the region can offer, such as with pinot noir – a growing and healthy category we’re embracing. The local craft beer scene is thriving and we’re better served than ever before with clever chefs showcasing our outstandin­g local produce in venues such as Arbour and

Scotch Wine Bar.

What do you believe sets your winery apart?

Our Sound of White vineyard sits on clay loam in the Waihopai Valley. It lends a richness and density to our wines – a refined variation on the distinctiv­e style Marlboroug­h is known for. This couples well with our willingnes­s to experiment. Since our pioneering days in the region, we’ve built nuance and texture into our wines while still ensuring they reflect the fruit of the season.
