Velvet & Silk (Samt & Seide) says much about this wine’s character. Speaking of which, there’s something of both cru Beaujolais and village-level Burgundy in this sappy but seriously juicy Austrian red. It's filled with dark cherries and sweet spice, a sprinkle of oak toast, and a crackle of peppery freshness.
