Lifted aromatics on the nose follow through onto the palate, which displays the hallmark traits of McLaren Vale cabernet; blue and black fruits, subtle leafy notes and a hint of dark chocolate with elegant tannins.
What gives your cabernet its distinctive traits?
The fruit is sourced from our two founders’ vineyards: the cooler slopes of Drew Dowie’s Tintookie vineyard in the sub-region of Blewitt Springs allows us to produce a wine of elegance and fine structure; Norm Doole’s Cali Road vineyard, closer to the ocean, adds intense fruit layers. The two vineyards combine their unique terroirs to produce a truly individual wine.
