2018 Bethany Blue Quarry Single Vineyard Eden Valley Chardonnay

Night-harvested from the Batten Vineyard, crushed and pressed in the early morning, the partly clarified juice taken to barrel for fermentation, one barrel undergoing mlf. The palate tells you this was a smart decision, as does the laboratory result of 7.1g/l of acidity. It’s light on its feet, white peach, citrus/ grapefruit and Granny Smith apple flavours all on parade. 12.5% alc.
