2018 Nashdale Lane Legacy Orange Pinot Noir

A wine that has spicy/savoury red and purple fruits from the outset, but it’s not until the finish and aftertaste that its intensity and power ex barrel-ferment take hold, sweeping all other flavours to one side. The wine is made using barrels that have been modified with the creation of a large (150mm) bung hole in the head of the barrel that stands vertically (the original small bung hole in the side of the barrel tightly sealed). 13.5% alc.
