2017 MyattsFiel­d Vineyards Mourvedre

A hand-picked field blend of 92% mourvedre and 8% touriga. The grapes are crushed together, 3 days cold soak, then cofermente­d. The touriga has succeeded in softening the acidity of the mourvedre, and 12 months maturation in used French oak has amplified the effect. The aromas, too, have been enhanced by the touriga. 14.5% alc.
