Massimo’s Gelateria on Hastings Street has been a long-time favourite or for something different try Nitrogenie’s high-tech creations. Coffee-loving parents should also try Amo Gelato at Noosaville for its specialty range.
For dinner, there is nothing more Australian than enjoying fish and chips outdoors overlooking the river, although a family dinner at the Noosa Heads Surf Club overlooking beautiful Main Beach is also hard to beat.
There are choices a-plenty for where to stay; bed down in absolute beachfront apartments, lakeside cottages, river rooms, hinterland cabins or glamp under Noosa’s starry skies.
