In a bathroom, it delivers an injection of glamour while providing a durable surface, and works with a range of colour schemes. “The marble was key in setting the tone for this room,” says Dominique. A basketweave tile design for the nook and shower floor – and an inlaid ‘tile rug’ (opposite) – introduces a repetition of black and adds depth.
