“We did the oak floors in a natural matt finish – it’s so much more forgiving than a gloss finish when it comes to muddy paws and sharp little claws!” WHAT’S NEXT ON THE RENO WISH LIST? Bob: “To finish the cellar, which is concealed behind the fireplace.”

BEST RENO TIP?

“Plant trees and shrubs before construction begins – that way you’ll have an established yard by the time the build is finished. This house wouldn’t look anywhere near as good without plants.”
